Hotel Discounts has opened up a World Wide Web site on the Internet where intrepid surfers can find room rates slashed as much as 65 percent at hotels in New York, Boston, Orlando, Fla., San Francisco, Washington, Chicago, New Orleans, Los Angeles, London and Paris.
Travelers can reserve a room directly off the Web site. They can also call (800) 823-4979 to book; lesser discounts at an additional 1,000 hotels that are refundable are also available through this number. Travelers prepay for their rooms by credit card; when they check out, they are responsible only for incidentals. Those who book at least three nights are also eligible for 500 bonus miles from frequent flier programs.
